Our Process


I. GET IN TOUCH.

Feel free to use the Booking & Contact tab to contact me. Together we will decide a time and date that works best for you, go over your needs and wants, as well as answer any questions.


II. PREPARATION.

Now that you have secured your booking, I can help with planning and providing recommendations on what to wear, what other locations may fit your vibe, etc. 7 days prior to our photoshoot date, I will reach out and confirm our session, send you a reminder, and keep you posted on if the weather is optimal to move forward.


III. DELIVER MEMORIES.

My goal is to ensure you're comfortable in front of the camera, help you pose if needed, and make this process fun and efficient! Within 24 business hours after our shoot, I will upload all the raw pictures with my watermark to an online gallery allowing you to pick out your final selections and add them to a Favorite List. From there, you can expect to receive all final edited images of your selections within 14 days after you finish proofing.

Booking?

You’ll start by contacting us! We’ll figure out a perfect day & time for your session, and then you’ll receive a link to add your appointment to the calendar!

DO I NEED TO PAY A DEPOSIT?

Yes. Once we confirm your session time/date, you must pay a deposit of 20% of your total cost to solidify your session. The deposit can be done via Cash App, PayPal, Venmo, ApplePay, or Zelle QuickPay (through your bank app). The deposit is subtracted from your total due amount. The remaining amount must be paid at the completion of the session. This can be done with cash, card, Cash App, PayPal, Venmo, or Zelle as well.

Turn around time?

Your photo delivery timeline will vary based on the length of your portrait session or event. If your portrait session is 1.5 hours or less, you can expect to receive your photos within approximately 2 weeks. For sessions lasting 2-3 hours, you can anticipate receiving your photos within approximately 3 weeks. If you've booked event photography for 4 or more hours, your photos will be delivered within 4-6 weeks. Occasionally, unforeseeable circumstances may arise that delay photo delivery. Rest assured that we're working hard to get your photos to you as soon as possible because we value the importance of your photos.

Rush Delivery?

Should you require expedited delivery of your photo gallery earlier than our standard 2-week turnaround time, we offer a rush service for an extra fee. The cost for this service is determined on a case-by-case basis, taking into consideration the specific requirements of each situation. Kindly note that the fee will be a minimum of $50. To request a quote for rush delivery, please contact us directly.

Photo delivery?

For portrait sessions with Kahlill E. Photography, you'll receive an online gallery via email containing all of the best portraits from your session. These will be unedited images and are not to be shared or screenshotted. Based on your package, you'll have the option to choose a specific number of favorites for final editing. If you choose additional favorites for editing, you'll be invoiced for an additional fee and all of your chosen favorites will be edited and delivered via online gallery.

Your photos will be delivered in .jpeg format, accessible via a stunning online photo gallery. You'll have the ability to download your photos or share them with your loved ones and on social media. Please note that we do not offer unedited or RAW images.

Your photo gallery will remain online for a minimum of 4 weeks, giving you ample time to download your photos to a disk, flash drive, or home computer. After that period, your gallery will be removed to accommodate other clients. If anything happens to your copy of the photos, Kahlill E. Photography makes every effort to keep an archive of client sessions on backup hard drives for a while. Therefore, in case of any issues, we can still provide you with a copy of your photos. Late Fee's

Please arrive on time for your session, as it will start promptly at the appointment time. To maximize the time available for your shoot, please arrive dressed in your first outfit. We may not be able to extend your session due to other scheduled appointments. If you arrive more than 15 minutes late, you'll incur an additional fee of $10 per 15 minutes. Should you be more than 45 minutes late, we'll need to reschedule your session and your deposit will be forfeit

Cancellations

Deposits are nonrefundable. Cancellations or reschedules must be done with no less than 24 hours' notice. Any appointment canceled less than 24 hours in advance will forfeit the deposit. When rescheduling another appointment a second deposit will need to be paid.
